Hi! I’m Virginia, and I’ve been running for over 15+ years. I began running with my high school cross country team and never looked back! After moving to Charleston for college, I continued to explore the Holy City with my feet. I have completed every distance up to the marathon and plan to focus on increased speed while staying injury free for the upcoming year!
My education includes a B.S. in Exercise Science and a DPT in Physical Therapy. I’m also an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and RRCA Certified Distance Running Coach. I understand how the body works as a whole and that you can’t focus on just one area at a time. Therefore my programs will include a mix of cross training styles and strength training specific to runners to maintain a strong lower body/core and prevent future injuries.
